"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! "Incredible estate. Highly recommend this vineyard to anyone. The food in the hotel restaurant was delightful and the wine was of course perfect. The wine tasting experience was fascinating coupled with the picturesque backdrop of the surrounding land. Every single staff member were helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. If I had any negative it was that we didn’t stay long enough!"

"It was a lovely property. Helpfully located for the vineyards via taxi. The area was under good security survelliance. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern and has a lot of art on show. Rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend "

"A lovely room with modern, interesting decor. Everything needed was provided e.g. teas, coffees etc. Reception was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you Breakfast was incredible! All ordered from a menu, but a very wide range of choices, and the ability to have whatever you'd like (French toast is to die for!) Location is brilliant as well - a seven minute walk to all the main restaurants in town! The only complaint is their strict cancellations policy. We had to reshuffle our whole holiday by three days due to my husband's work, and this was the only hotel out of seven across Cape Town and the Garden Route that didn't refund us at all, despite weeks of notice. This was a shame, but the hotel is lovely nonetheless. "
